Are there any makers that will reattach "rubberliike" handle materials? (kraton, etc.

Hey guys,

I have an old sog tigershark that I've really come to like. However the rubber handle is absolute crap, and is starting to fall apart. (Although I admit I aid in it's slow destruction.) I really like the feel of knives like fallkniven, kabar, and tigershark.

I know a custom maker nearby that could make me some fancy handles, but I'd prefer the rubber feel for actual use.

So, do any makers custom or factory that will redo handles in any of the nice rubber/plastic-y materials?

I have one too. I disagree with your description of the handle quality. How have you damaged it? It seems like it would take a lifetime to wear it out with regular use.

Is the material falling apart or is it separating from the handle? The rubber strengthened super glue may be the perfect solution for something like that.
