Are there any tutorials on how to take good photos ?

As the titles says , has anyone made a tutorial on how to take good photos of knives and sheaths ?
Lighting , backgrounds , focus etc .
I'd be really interested in improving my photo skills .
I did a basic search but didn't come up with much .
Do anyone have some links or the " know how " that they would pass on .
