Are there authorized Benchmade service dealers?

Last week I stopped by my local premium plus dealer to check out a knife. I saw an employee replacing a clip on a Benchmade. I looked closer and there was a plastic tackle box that said Benchmade on it that was full of benchmade clips labeled for specific models. It also had screws, maybe some washers and other small parts. They had one of the worksharp belt sharpeners on a table behind the counter. So does Benchmade authorize some dealers to service their knives? It would make sense if the employees were well trained in doing this, since the knives going in for lifesharp seem to be constanly increasing. Also please note this was a larger dealer that has almost the whole lineup of Benchmade behind the glass. That would be cool if they did do that. Anybody else ever seen this?

Yea, a shop in Birmingham AL has a big box of clips and screws they let customers pull from for whatever they need. BM gives them the parts since they are such a high volume dealer.

Yeah my local big retailer has a box just like you describe. Its almost depleted though. Guess Benchmade needs to send another box.
