sorry if i sound alittle persistant, but i would really like to get my hands on that knife

Mike,
I've been checking, and unfortunately, I can't seem to find any in the Melbourne area, and none at all that have purchased any BK&T's. The one customer of ours in Austrailia is ...

K Trading Co.
9 Douglas Mawson Rd.
Dubbo, NSW
Phone 1268222455

I'm ashamed to say, that I'm not sure how far that is from you, and with a country the size of Austrailia, it could be so far way as to be on the moon! I believe that your best bet is going to be ordering one online, if you do decide to get one.

I DO believe that in a large [9.5"] bladed, chopping, prying, bashing, all around HEAVY use field blade, that the BRUTE is an exceptional value.

Thanks for the interest!

Mike, is it true that you have to drive around with your knives locked up or its a 200.00 dollar fine, per knife and they take it from you?
:(

thanks will. ummmm, i dont actually live in melbourne. where i live is actually not TOO far from the place you mentioned, relatively speaking anyway.

ill still probably get one online though, since from what i have seen its alot cheaper.

dubbo is actually a small rural town, so i doubt it they would be selling the knife cheaper than what i can get online.

i really think you should look into establishing a few dealerships in the major commercial centres such as sydney and melborne. Australia is a very rugged place and outdoor activities are very popular. your BK&T line seems to be perfect for this purpose.

and no we dont have to keep the knives locked up, we just cant carry them in public(depending on blade style and length). guns needs to be carried in an approved vessel though

but i dont think most people here carry any sort of self defence items anyway.
