Are there too many models of Buck knives?

I was checking if there were older knives around. New or like new that I could buy to show my buddies some great knives. Now, don't get me wrong, I love Buck knives but some of their classics can't be found. The website I was on had like a hundred or more models of Buck knives and right now I don't need a fixed blade or tactical. I'm sure the custom shop can do anything, but a new 501 or many other production models would please a lot of people. Maybe.....? Anybody else like to see a model revived? Or some be deleted?

I'll just say that Buck still lists a new 501 on its website. So maybe that was just a number you plucked thinking it was discontinued.

Other than customs and limited edition types. There are probably all the Bucks you would want, out there somewhere. Google and ebay.

As far as some being deleted, who is to say... Buck is, when a model quits selling. Their marketing people will pull it from production.

Buck has revived a few over the years. Look at the new Kalingas.

You ask some tough questions.

...Look at the new Kalingas...

You are reading my mind, Pack Rat. That 'new' 419 Folding Kalinga Pro in brass and rosewood will be mine! If variety is the spice of life, then Buck owns the spice cupboard. :D
