They are just another gateway drug to INFI. In view of this, you should buy one or more immediately.
 
More seriously, I don't know anything about the steel, except that it is known for it's toughness. However, the Resperene C handles are outstanding. I hated to see them vanish from the Swamp Rat line.
 
Mate check out www.bussecombat.com www.bussecompanystore.com www.swamprat.com and scrapyardknives.com , do a little reading and you will discover some of the best knives available.

I sell sog knives where I work, and I can tell you that a knife from any of the companies above will kick its ass.

It can be a little hard to get knives sent to Australia, but usually if you email them, you can get around that. Good luck.

Bro, if you buy one, do yourself a favor and have a quality kydex or moodex sheath made for it... :thumbup:

The newer cordura sheaths are actually very nice, it isn't a custom kydex or leather job but much nicer than the older cordura sheaths. Look for the buckle and you'll know it is new ;)

Now that you mention it, the one that came with my INFI Hatchet was nicer than the sheath that made its way to Texas.... ;)
