Are these Collins of vintage quality or not?

Not the best, but not the worst either. I have had a few of these and they'll take an edge well. The second one is overpriced, IMO, but if you could snag the first for ten bucks and re handle it yourself I think you'd have fared well.

At $20 the second one doesn't appear that bad, if the handle is in good shape.
