Are these RAT folders real, if so when do they come out?

EDITED TO ADD:That image is an artists conception entered for a contest here on the forum.

That's NOT the finished design that will be produced, though it is very close to it.

Don't look at that image and expect a mirror copy to be produced including the lock geometery and other features that will have to be reworked by someone who designs this kind of thing for a living.

They are listed on the ESEE cutlery site. Here rumor has it they will be out later this year but who knows? Really looking forward to this knife.

They are not RAT folders. The RAT name has been left with Ontario and the Busse family. RAT Cutlery is now ESEE Knives. I will move this to their forum.

Thanks Esav for another Izula folder thread.

But it's true, it's a badazz looking knife. Canvas micarta scales would be pure win on this little one. If and when this knife comes to be, it will be a real winner.

Just an FYI, but the frame lock isn't a Strider original.
