During the last Knob Creek a lot of AD's and MNR's were released. Here is the question! I have a AD and MNR that have hollow ground, coated blades, are they SLUTS or not??? I also have a SOS-AD and MNR, now they are Flat/convex ground and quit heavy for there size. Are they SLUTS or not???

Anyone know for sure? I know Jerry's original SLUT post back in Jan-2011 I think said they were HOLLOW ground. The SOS's are NOT HOLLOW GROUND on the Any ideas?

Jerry or Garth, any input???

Mods, I screwed up here can you please move this to the discussion forum, Thank you and I apologize!

I would think that if they are heavy, they are not SLUTs Russ. My SLUT Street is amazingly light in hand, especially for a .22 thick knife

The SLUT has more to do with the grinding out of the handle than anything else I think

First time I picked up a SLUT I thought, "this doesn't feel like a Busse". Super light compared to non-SLUT versions

Oh yeah man, the sluts are a completely different monster. Cant believe you dont have a cpl bro, Im sure it wont be long :p

I'm thinking I might like a slut or two!!! Lite weight, easy to handle, hum...

HAHA! If I could have any smaller busse I dont have as a pure user, the slut ad would be my top choice, was just a bit out of my $ range so I passed. Im with legaleagle, I too was a bit wtf'ed about it when I first handled em, twas sweet.

I am real fond of this heavy stuff!!! Holding the AD is like hanging on to a roll of quarters w/ a blade, COOL:cool::thumbup:

Nope, not SLUTS. The Custom Shop Active Dutys at KC are a lot heavier than the SLUTS. The SLUTS have a skeletonized handle, while the KC ADs don't, and the hollow grind on the SLUTS are a lot deeper (it seems by eye balling it)
