I want something new from Chris Reeve. I mean, REALLY new.

Are they working on anything?

Like a "Super Sebenza"?

Dagger?
Rescue knife?
Multi-tool?

Anything. Just something exciting.

Yowzers! $500! I was hoping to get one cheap and be able to do a blade swap with my large Classic Micarta on those occasions where I wanted a tanto, but fur $500...damn. I wonder if I could just order a tanto blade...
 
I wish they would resurrect the flat-ground Sebenza and make it a standard production item...

I don't need much to keep it interesting :)

May as well say it as sit here and think it - Why no blade change ? ... I'm sure there's are a fair amount of folks who, like me, would jump at a large classic wharncliff.

I think sebenza fans are blessed and cursed by the popularity of their fixed blade models. They introduce a new FB style about each year or so. I imagine as long as there is no room in production schedules, we'll not see any new folder styles.
 
I have it on good authority that CRK is working on an auto. Will be sized in between the large and small sebbie and have a tanto blade. And the price will be no more that the standard large sebbie.




















......um, ...no ......J/K........IMADICK. :p


(But that would be the shizzle, no? A CR auto!!)

The blades aren't interchangable. The lock is fitted to the blade. You would have to send in your Micarta inlay to have the tanto blade fitted to the handle. CRK won't do that due to the agreement with the NICA. All of them have to be the same except for the left hand models but they will be mirror images. Yeah the price is up there but this time they're only doing 200 and I know that at least one of them will be a lefty. ;) If you want something special it will cost you. :)
