i had a 2 by 72 belt i bought from sheffeild but after a mishap with a dagger point its no longer a 1 piece. tracy sells a kit to make it for half the cost but i dont trust myself. tracys services have always been exellent!!! anyway i cant get ahold of anyone at all at sheffields. whhich really sucks because when it origanally came thier was a phone nu. and web site for the orignal belt maker. i talked to him on the tele. but i cant find it anywhere does anybody have it or a solution to my problem??? please help willy!!!!!:o:o
 
Sorry, we're fresh out of 2x72 cows here in Nebraska. You might check Texas, they say everything is bigger down there.

I got one from a gentleman that Jerry Hossom recommended. I can't recall his name but if you want to shoot me an email I will look it up, he is out of MO I think. His belts are pricey though, he charged $50 plus shipping for the one I received. He also has a Website for info only and I will see if I can locate that also.

Try a felt belt.I polish edges with it and they get amazingly sharp.
 
handamerican.com used to have them...

most folks ended up not liking the bump...important to make sure you get a good one...it was my understanding that handamerican had the best ones available.

I don't know if they're in business anymore...

Sheffields is definitely open - make sure you call in the middle of the day.

Too busy drinking the Aogami Super Kool-Aid over here, anyways. Got a lot of food to prep today and inspiration from an Itasan18 youtube vid (the omelette one) for the tons of peppers going between then all.
 
thanks for all the help guys hopefully ill find one now. i had one that i used alot untilli i had a blonde moment! i really liked it with some green chrome. used it alot. thrombrogan ive never heard of a felt belt? do u use it the same as a leather belt?....thankswilly
 
no.....the felt belt has more give to it....softer.
