Are Vosteed knives any good or overhyped "You TubeBudget Bangers!!!"

Tongue in cheek, but seems like every knife Vosteed releases gets instant praise as a "Budget Banger!!!" on YouTube. (Click bait?) I bought one one, hated it, and returned it. It was a Vosteed Thurnderbird that tried to be a fidget monster, but didn't seem to be effective at any method of opening. You're mileage may vary as they say.

If I have a less than optimal interaction at a restaurant, I will NEVER eat there again. Probably way too "get off my lawn" but I am who I am. So I'm sorta "Get off my Lawn" with Vosteed. Do they really make any good knives or are influencers gushing over their freebies?

Thread 'Vosteed - Is the uber hype for real?'

I've read a lot of great things about Vosteed over the last 6 months or so, and I was just wondering if the hype is for real or is it just hype? They've been coming out with a variety of EDC folders lately. The Racoon is probably Vosteed's most popular offering, but they have quite a few others on the market as well now. Their newest offering, the Porcupine, is sold out nearly everywhere and looks interesting. Any thoughts on this manufacturer?
