Are you gonna get one?

300 bucks for S30V, I don't think so. Street price will be somewhat less I imagine but probably not much. To many really well made customs for sale here and on JDF's for less. On a big knife I would rather see a nice high carbon steel with good toughness and not prone to chipping as S30v can be. My opinion only and your's and others may differ. keepem sharp

No, I already have a S30V 7" FB. But the Becker does look good!:D

It’s been done before.

The Camillus-Becker BK-77.

Shortly after it’s debut, Camillus went TU.

As I recall, they went for around $300 in 2003(?), so maybe the new one isn’t priced all that badly.

Lots of top knifemakers have tested S30V in impact tests and it has performed very well.
It’s a lot tougher than people think.

I love Beckers!

When I saw the BK77 on their website I wanted it! MSRP is $300. Street price should be significantly less. My BK2 has an MSRP of $96.80 and I got it for $58.97. The BK7 is $112.14 MSRP but at New Graham, it is $68.75. So that should put the BK77 at ~$200. Maybe even less. Much more "attainable".

This retailer is selling the knife for $275.

Considering that it is a 7 inch blade, comes with a sheath, AND a BK-13 necker AND it is limited to 150 pieces, that’s not bad at all.

I have bashed my Strider S30V blade as much as my Busse and it holds up just fine.
