Hi gentlemen -
i m here just a few weeks and use to start my post with this words.
But i wonder if here really are no Ladies ??
So come over with your "coming out" who of you is female ? ;-)
 
Well I'm no skirt, but my girlfriend is ALMOST as much of a knife geek as me. She collects knives and swords. And she's HOT to boot. I am one lucky chump.
 
There are a few ladies here. Asking for them to identify themselves is really not fair. Women are often more concerned than men about revealing their gender on the internet, particularly when they outnumbered by men at 100 to 1. There are a half dozen or so active BFC formites who happen to be female. Maybe more. Some are Mothers. At least one is an ABS Mastersmith. If you read closely, you may be able to figure out who they are.

But I'm not going to tell you who their names, and let you get start stalking them with your large calibre bigbore rifle, BigBoy. I assume that you have properly registered with the proper authorities when you joined our community, as required by the law

Well, we could do this by a process of elimination. Let me illuminate: if all the males would declare their male-ness then whomever is left would be female (barring the unforseen hermaphrodite). So I will step forward and admit that, yes, I am a male. We will just assume, then, that anyone who doesn't declare their maleness is obviously a female. Ok?

It is not fair but I am afraid that those of us who are not evil psycopathic males are tarred with that potential threat in the eyes of many women,and I can see why.
In a perfect world it would not be a problem,but this aint perfect.

In truth, if by "male" you meant the Latin adverb "male" or "evilly" I suppose the answer would be "yeah". At least today.
