Military folks without a basic membership, if you would like a Bladeforums membership, here is my Give-a-way question. Fill in the blanks, first one to get it correct, wins.
One of the military stints I did, was in the ____ ________ _____, and I did my Basic Training at ____ ____. (Hint-803D)

I have to work today, but will check back later on.

And............. Please remember those who have served before us and those who continue!
 
No military service for me. ALMOST. But that is another story. ;)

Tyrkon, I've had tons and tons of military service. Retiree now.

Trust me, the work you're doing as a science teacher is just as tough...and arguably more important! I keep saying that, one day, I'll go back and teach what I know to the next generation. Just not sure I'm tough enough!
 
Nice job. There was a deal over at Glocktalk earlier this year that people sponsored others' NRA memberships. Some couldn't afford it but we needed to fill some ranks.

I love these sorts of things. Good on'ya MMIAM!
 
Thanks folks, the kind words fall on humble ears. I just wish we'd get some guesses. Well, being the holiday, most are probably spending time doing something outdoors.
Tyrkon, you have my utmost admiration. Where you are and being a teacher on top of that is no small feat. You know who to call whenever you need something, if I am able, I got your back.

Brother, I only 'used' to be good. Too many years behind a desk, too many years 'herding cats' as we say in the business.

I'd need to pull another Doctoral tour -- maybe a full 5 years -- just to get a bit of my edge back.

To think. I could'a been a contender!:D

Seriously though, someday I really will take the plunge. But not right now. Too many problems on the international horizon...and I can still make a real contribution.
