We have been seeing an unbelievable amount of deer this summer.

I have never seen anything like it before.

We are sighting in our rifles and handguns this week and then hopefully filling the freezers during the upcoming season.

My boys, Paul and Luke are through the roof excited!

They both shot turkeys this year and I bagged one as well.

What is your favorite Busse Kin blade for the hunting season?

More importantly, what will you be drinking after the hunt?

I've used a lot of different blades on deer, including Busse and Kin, but the best I've tried is the Swamp Rat Dog Skinner in D2. Absolute grand slam!

14 years and I've never seen one as big as this one.

I've stopped hunting but did use a SY Elmax blade on my first ever and was happy with that.

Our suburban neighborhood by Cleveland, OH is loaded with deer. One doe in particular was passing through with her two fawns on a regular basis, even bedding down in our backyard frequently..
