tonight is the kick off of the syracuse football season-
took the day off so i could get ready-lol

the menu for tailgating -

22 oz ny strip steaks

refried salt potato's in garlic and butter topped with fresh diced pepper-

mac salad

pasta salad

flat bread

corn on the cob

devild eggs

I'd like to be there on a fee basis- with a crash cart and paddles.

Still, when winter comes and you're out there watching your team, all the fat from that menu is just goodness that keeps you warm.

That sounds like a pretty tasty spread. Not exactly on my diet, but good for sure:D:thumbup:

My wife is an NFL football nut, but I tend to get disgusted with my team and stop watching. I really enjoy the sport for the giant violent chess match that it is. This is why I enjoy watching the technical finesse of Payton Manning's Colt offense and the brutal terrifying defense of the Chicago Bears. I was in football heaven during the last super bowl;)

We try to keep our ball game munchies a little healthier. Usually veggies and crackers and stuff like that....this coming from the guy that talked his wife into making nachos for dinner tonight:D

Your dinner sounds a lot better than SU football this year. :grumpy:

(I'm an SU alum from back in 1990-92 when they were winning 10 games a year and a new years day bowl)

Sounds tasty. I am looking into taking the boys to a local high school game this evening. Let's hear it for pigskins and pork products.

Man, that sounds like awesome fare. I'm a football fan. Its the only sport I watch. LSU is due to be pretty good this year too, so I'm happy about that. The Falcons are gonna have it tough, but the Saints look good. I love football season.
