i voted #3, but i have never encountered a situation where prying was necessary and i didn't have some sort of other tool to use.
yehp, i don't have a custom but with that much invested i can see finding the right tool for the job would make alot of sense. I should have put another choice or 2 into the poll, but too late now.
Kinda makes you wonder why you sunk so much money into a hard-use knife with one of the strongest locks rightI voted #3 but I don't really pry with my knives. I really haven't had a chance to put my Demko to the test though.

this is kinda why I started this thread, I welcome all shakedown reports on these customs, if you don't push the envelope how do you know what is inside it?
And MORIMOTOM, I hope you either discover your envelope or never need to find it out at a critical few seconds of time, I guess you have that aspect covered as you are a professional LEO but still.
I voted number 2,but its more like option 3 without the 'prying'.
