Go to the "Konvetion" thread.

Click on the edit for the post where I put up the half-dozen smileys. You won't be able to edit my post but you can see how I posted them, i.e.:

1)

2) The url for the specific smiley:
"XXXXX.com/s/net4/icon16.gif"
3) The front part takes you to the pages they come from:
"http://cwm.ragesofsanity.com/XXXXX"

can it also be used for .jpegs and other image files?
What about the URL part of the pathway to
the image file, does one have to use a site
like photopoint? The reason I ask is that I
would like to use some colorful images with
my posts. However these images are now only located on my hard-drive. Please advise.

Sure -- same syntax for any image file.

Yes, the image file has to be on the web (Bladeforums has no access to your hard drive). But fortunately it's very easy (and costs nothing) to set up a photopoint account. Then you just email your pix to photopoint. Go to www.photopoint.com
