Ares Green/Black G10 Limited Edition?

I saw some Ares Green/Black G10 Limited Editions pop up on a certain website last night. They sold out very quickly and upon further investigation found out that only 4 were ever in stock.

I'm wondering if these were the first of a new Limited Edition run or am I SOL on getting one now?

It's the limited run of 300, Ares 730-1301. OD/black G10 scales, S30V blade. These kind of slid under the radar as they were never announced by BM.
 
There was no release announcement. Another Ares collector over on BM's forum mentioned that he read about it on a Russian knife forum on 10/24. I did a search that night and there was only one online retailer that had a couple. I snatched one up. A couple other online retailers had a small shipment. Still no official release notice from BM.
The scales are nice. It is similar to the 730-1203 that came out last year albeit with S30V instead of M390. There's a long thread about the 1301 on the BM forum. Go read about it there.

There is also an all-green scales Ares exclusively made for Russia with a plain S30V blade that is for sale currently called the 730-1302.
There's a group buy over on BM forum for those in the USA who are trying to procure that knife.

Yeah I saw that.

Price is a bit steep. Quite a bit more than the one I saw the other night, and I prefer the Green/Black G10 anyway.

Oh well, guess it wasn't meant to be.
 
The dealer(not a BF member.., yet) I work part time at got 3 of these in today. I was surprised to see a new BM in the store because I had not seen or heard anything about them. I was able to handle one of them, and I might be working some extra overtime soon so I can snatch one up. The Ares felt very nice in hand, looked awesome, and the lock up, centering, and action was perfect! I can see these becoming a regular production item soon!
 
Hey guys, just picked one up on Ebay Canada ...Happy.
There are only a few left.
 
I ended up snagging one listed on the Exchange. Just got it on Friday.

Awesome knife. Feels great, looks great. Only thing that could be improved upon is the blade steel, although S30V isn't terrible. I'm just used to a lot of the recent super steels.

I'd really like to see a regular production Ares 730 in black G10 with a coated CPM-M4 blade like the Contego 810.
