Hello everyone,

I’m a bit new to the knife world, even though I’ve always used them for hunting but didn’t get serious about it until a year ago.

I’m looking at the two blades listed above in MC, it will serve as my hunting knife, for mule deer, elk and pronghorn. I was hoping to get your opinions on it.

I’ve been running the BR bravo 1 in cpm3v and absolutely love it, only issue is, all in, I’m a little over 14oz. For day hunts it doesn’t bother me but if I’m packing up a ridge, gaining over 1k feet in elevation, every pound counts.

Thanks in advance for any insight.

The ext-1 has the gunny handle, which is significantly smaller than the bravo handle. But it has a similar coke bottled shape with the palm swell.

If comfort during long usage is a priority, I think the ext-1 might be better since you like the bravo handle. At a brief glance I didn't see any blade stock thickness listed for the argali, so it's hard to compare blades.
