First I want to state that packages arriving from Argentina and Brazil arrive faster than many of the different countries.
But lately (this year) their Customs have been giving the residents a hard time when it is a package coming from outside of the country.
Hopefully for the sake of those living in Argentina and Brazil they will get things worked out soon.
I have been shipping handle material to both of these countries for several years. Lately I have seen a big change. A recent package to Brazil was sent in November and delivered beginning of this month.
I guess the point I am trying to make is if you live in these countries and you are expecting an overdue package; go to your local customs office. They probably have it. It is too bad that they want to mess with you like this but I guess they want to make sure they get their cut.
