Argentine Military Knife Scabbard

Hello, I am looking to know what type of knife went into a Argentine military green leather "knife" scabbard. This came to me in an odd lot of other Argi military items and the scabbard is the same green leather as some of the bayonet frogs, belts, holsters, Y straps etc.

Scabbard pocket is 8.25 inches in length with a belt hanger loop and a strap with snap for securing the blade.

Any directions on the search?
