I was slicing up some monster cardboard boxes to make more room in our recycling barrel, and hung the blade's hook up on one of those copper-colored industrial staples.
The edge ended up with three nasty dinged spots. I've been trying over the last few days to bring it back to beauty and sharpness with my Sharpmaker (I only have the regular rods, not the diamond or micro-fine), but it's slow going as the dings are in the concave curve pretty close to the tip -- and I don't want to round off the tip and make things even worse.
Anyone have any advice?
