So I read a thread about a Buffalo scaled 110 w/nickel silver scales; sounds good, but when I get there it's not the right buffalo... :grumpy:

Today I read a thread mentioning the Buck 120, remember I want one, go to the site that still has them listed, and get all the way to the "Submit" [credit card order] button, and get a Microsoft Mysql error msg... :grumpy:

ARGH!!! ARGH!!! ARGH!!!

Friday was payday; I won't have this money long, and now I can't spend it!!! :(

I just checked eBay; couple 120's there, but going for more than a new one!!! :(

I guess I'll just spend the money filling my gas tank...

Nah...Doesn't tempt me a bit... :(

I kinda had my heart set on that 120...the site sent me an automated msg saying they would investigate the error...that pretty much tells me it's a widespread, wellknown error, if they have to set an automated response to it...

Chickentrax Just go to cabelas web site and buy the 120 general Pro line!
Always a knife to buy somewhere!!!! :)

...I agree Trax...If I want any "etching" I'll go walk thru the poison ivy patch next door...and be "etching" all day...

I generally agree with your opinion on etching, however the 110 with the SDPD station etched on the blade with the year I resigned was too tempting to let go by. :o

...That knife that you're talking about, Mike, would be something that I too would have wanted had I been in your position...That's a memory you want to keep and an "etching" does just that...Too many of the memories I have from the late sixties and early seventies just need to go away for me...
