I need a Busse folder to clip on my bunker gear :D :D :D

Went and broke my Emmerson PSARK today on a vehicle extrication when a Chebby SUV towing a U haul lost it on the interstate by going way to fast & rolled 6-7 times and the U haul trailer caught on fire :eek: :eek:

Was not fun for a few tense seconds, but everything worked out & the driver is fine.

Now I need a replacement for my PSARK & poor old Jerry's cut off from the CBL till I get a Busse folder :p :p :p :p

Pick up a Rat folder while you're waiting....good blades at a great price.

Can't have a fixed blade on my bunkers but can get away with a folder.

Don't tell me I'm going to have to spring for a strider folder :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
 
Hey, it might cost a lot of beer, but it has to be worth a try.

Check out the Swamp Rat Rat Trap: it's a heck of a lot cheaper than a Strider.

Have, but I "need" (want) a partially serrated blade that's indistructable & from the pictures of the Rat Trap I'd break it rather quick. I'm extremely hard on blades & tend to use them for all sorts of things including pry bars. Was actually suprised that the PSARK lasted as long as it did & it was being used on the back of a car seat when it broke.

Figgure if I can break a Busse folder Jerry needs to buy me lots of beer

I highly doubt ANY folder will stand up to your requirements for very long. A folder will always be a two main sections, handle and blade. With that comes limits, shame you can't carry a small fixed blade.

I concur. A Meaner Streets might fit your needs a whole lot more.

I know, but the problem is, no fixed blade knives are allowed so I'm stuck with a folder.

The PSARK lasted aprox 3 years & the majority of time it just cut seatbelts, car seats & all kinds of other tasks that were hard on the blade but not to the point of breaking.

Been wating for the Busse folder & guess I'll just fade into the background & keep wating :) :) :)
 
Yep, it sounds like you need a Broken Heart. Maybe Jerry's doesn't want to feel guilty about cornering the heavy-duty folder market :confused: :cool:
