Arghh! Ebay sellers without a clue!

So this knife and sheath combo is in at least its second try at auction

Its clearly NOT a Schrade knife (note the "pakistan" on the blade) but the sheath is a Schrade. I informed the seller of the errors previously but there it is relisted once again.
I do not claim to be a Schrade expert but as far i know Schrades were never made in pakistan, lol.
Yeah i did read their disclaimer about them not actually owning the items they sell and that they only sell items for the actual owners but still this knife is clearly not a Schrade.
Maybe if a few more knowledgeable forumites/Schrade collectors politely mentioned it to the seller the seller might grow a brain.

Up for auction and bidding is for a nice old SCHRADE German 4" Folding Knife with case. This folding knife is USED and still in very good condition with normal wear from usage. It has a marked label, " Stainless PAKISTAN ", on the knife blade and a SCHRADE engraved on the leather case.

Pakistan is German for...Pakistan? Well, they do offer a refund if the item is not as described. Maybe it was made in Germistan. Or Pakmany.

Here is a good one for you Ebayers.A friend called me this afternoon since I both buy and sell on Ebay.He wanted to buy a truck off Ebay.It was way too good to be true.30,000 dollar truck for 13,000.I warned him to take the time to check this out with Ebay.This seller was supposed to have 20,000 on deposit in case of a refund.After asking Ebay about this guy he got an answer back that it was a phishing deal and not to do business with this person.They pulled the auction.I'm glad he checked it out or it could have cost him a bundle.
I edited this to add that I recently got stuck with a pakistani boot knife after it was advertised as a Schrade.Arnold

The pouch is worth more than the knife.
 
Definately a 4 pin bock lack Pakigerm.Got to feel sorry for the poor USA Schrade Sheath with that inside........don't know why but that reminds of the Pakistani with 10 wives..nine had it pretty soft. Hoo Roo
 
I must disagree with ALL of you. On closer inspection, you will notice this is one of the extremely rare "AKISTAN" Schrades!

It may all be okay. It appears that the seller offers a return if the item is not as described. HA. I almost want to buy it and then see if I really get a refund. I do however feel it would be a complete waste of $28. Maybe if I got stuck with it I could trade it for one of these "prototype" duck sheaths.

The seller's write up also says they also research the items they sell. HA! They didn't even bother to read the tang stamp on this one!

Yeah in the previous auction for this knife i emailed them as well, I got the same reply as you did "Thanks for the info. We will pass it on to the owner".
They don't care apparently.

At least this time they dropped the price, they marked it down from 25$ to 19.99$ lol!
Maybe eventually it'll be marked down to what its worth say idaknow a hundredth of that.

Hmmm "The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale."
Hopefully that means the owner just gave up trying to sell it and not
 that someone somewhere (not on ebay) bought it.
 
It's not his integrity that's at fault here, it's his spelling. He meant to advise that it's a CHARADE.

Seriously, guys, you do realize that there are people out there who just want to turn over garage-sale junk in a hurry and could not care less what they have to claim to do so? They're not con-men, they're just hustlers. :)
