I recently saw a picture of the Argonne Assault and fell in love. What a thing of beauty. I was wondering if anyone knew of a place on the net where I can see specs on the knife and the price and stuff. I was also curious as to where I can purchase one.

BA,
Sorry, too early;) Here is some more info.

If you are interested in the Combat Grade Argonne Assault with the 7.5 inch black coated blade, Larry Brahms at Bladeart (sales@bladeart.com) will be receiving the first shipments of these knives by early June. Get your order into him now if you would like one of these knives.

There will be two different versions of the Limited Edition or Signature Series (which are entirely done by Jerry Busse) one with Bead Blast and one Satin finished. Les Robertson at Robertson Custom Cutlery (customknives@comcast.net) will offer the Satin finished ones and we will sell directly the bead blast versions - both will have 9.5 inch blades.

Please note that Les will only have 20 of the Satin finished 9.5 inch AAs. Since they are so limited I recommend you contact him asap!

Just a quick note here. I got the chance to hold and look over the LE version of this awesome knife at Les Robertson's table at the Blade show. I have to tell you, this has got to be the most awesome Busse knife ever! I'm a picky bastid and I could find no flaws in the one I was looking at. Nope, grinds were perfect and everything was even everywhere. If only it wasnt so expensive, I would be owning that baby today.

The Argonne Assault is unlike any other knife in the industry.

A little bit of history - Jerry made this knife a long time ago and they sold for about $4-$500. That knife was made out of A2. Today, if you can find one of those old AAs, you will have to pay $2000 or more !!

Today, in INFI, the same knife (combat grade version) sells for $797 thru Larry at Bladeart. If you want the limited edition version - in satin thru Les R. or in bead blast thru me - you pay about half what one of those old ones is worth today.

What do you want to bet that these new versions will be worth 5 - 10 years from now !!! Aren't Busses great !!! Buy a knife use it for a couple of years and sell it for more than you paid for it. I only wish cars were like that!
