I'm glad to report that both Ariel and Ruben will have EACH a 2 pages spread on David Darom's 3rd book, "100 Custom Knives in the Making", to be introduced to the public on Blade 2006, depicting a tutorial on knifemaking.
Ariel made a no-hammer marks cable knife and shows the process of forging and grinding, while Ruben made a Persian Kark and shows the process of fileworking, tempering and making the nickel silver fitting for the handle and sheath.
They're very different in style, but incredible knives, each one of them.
Both knives will be present at Blade 2006 on David's stand for people to check them out in person!
Both Ariel and Ruben will post the tutorials once I update their websites and have time to process the hundreds of pictures I've taken for this project.
I've been working with David through this entire process and I gotta say he's been nothing but a pleasure to deal with!
Thanks for reading this!
Next step! REAL presence on Blade 2007! (Yeah, we wish!)
