Arrived on 6/28 and has been fondled ever since! It was great to see Ariel make this tough hombre from start to finish. It has a 5" blade of awesome san mai and balances right behind the damascus guard. Surprisingly, the clear resin covered chain handle has a great 'gripiness' to it. When asked what I wanted to have done with the butt, I had said just add a stainless 'acorn' nut and emailed Ariel a pix. Ariel went a giant step further and handmade a damascus 'acorn' nut from the same damascus as his guard! And he didn't stop there! He embossed a chain pattern in the leather sheath and used a small chain in the stitching of the sheath. Hope you enjoy the pixs.
