Aristocrat & Mike Stewart

Anyone know what connection if any there was between Mike Stewart and Aristocrat knives? It seems like Aristocrat was around in the late 1980's to early 1990's period. I've heard various connections over the years, everything from Stewart designing some of the models, to the knives being made in the same plant as the Japan-made Blackjacks. Information on Aristocrat seems to be very limited, although all of the knives I've seen have been very well made. I know at least some of the Aristocrat folders were made by Hiro, as I used to have one that was marked as such. Any further info would certainly be appreciated as this is one I've being trying to sort out for a long time now.
