Arizona Bowie.
This little Doggie will be at home on the trail as well as the asphalt jungle.
Just thought you might enjoy seeing this.
Made from Edge quenched 3/16" 5160
Blades is hand Rubbed Satin finish with a Convex grind to zero.
Fittings are 416 SS with mirror polish on the edges and Satin on the flats.
Handle is sanded Stabilized Elk with a nice buff to it. Even the wife:D likes this handle as it came out with some subtle, even and nice coloring.
Blade measures 7 1/4" tip to front of Guard 11 7/8" OAL.

That's one great looking knife, Robert. The elk antler looks much nicer than what I normally see. You did a real nice job on the blade. I love the profile and the bevels. The fittings are beautifully done as well.

You were going to be starting to do some forging. Is that the way this blade was done?

Not this one sir!
Have all the stuff together just need to fire that puppy up and start pounding some steel.
Goal is to have my first forged blade before Xmas:D

Yup, that's a beauty Robert! Nice understatement on the blade & handle design, with just a touch of pizazz in the guard to perk it up. I gotta agree with Mrs Blinker that the handle material is mighty nice. :D

Ya done good!!
