does anyone know what the laws are for knife carry in AZ?

I looked at a site that quoted them, and it sounds like anything IN your pocket is ok. Anything worn on the outside (fixedblade or otherwise) is illegal. Also, anything deemed deadly.

Does anyone out there live and carry in AZ? I will probably be visiting soon and am curious.

Arizona Criminal Code

13-3102. Misconduct involving weapons; defenses; classification; definitions

A. A person commits misconduct involving weapons by knowingly:

1. Carrying a deadly weapon without a permit pursuant to section 13-3112 except a pocket knife concealed on his person; or

2. Carrying a deadly weapon without a permit pursuant to section 13-3112 concealed within immediate control of any person in or on a means of transportation...

B. Subsection A, paragraph 1 of this section shall not apply to a person in his dwelling, on his business premises or on real property owned or leased by that person.

Basically, anything open goes. Anything that folds (including autos) can be concealed no problem. Of course none of it matters if you get an AZ CCW permit.

Yep, that's kinda what I gathered. I will be carrying a CUDA Aftermath prolly. Should be ok.
