Arizona Knife Laws?

Yes. Short answer: What laws? ;)

Long answer: The recent bills passed within the past few years in Arizona made all knives legal or carry. Folders, daggers, switchblades, butterfly knives. All are legal in Arizona so long as you are 21 and up and not a convicted felon. Furthermore, the state law preempts all local laws, rendering any county or city restriction on weapon carry invalid.

Yeppers I do enjoy my EDC knives, any of them that I want without all the worry of city to city.

Its a great state to be in for knife and gun lovers. Having recently moved from Massachusetts I really appreciate this personal freedom thing. :-)

yeah and amazing isn't it? Arizona hasn't ignited in flames and anarchy has it?

You are no safer in Massachusetts or anyother liberal craphole (I unfortunately live in Mass. ) than in a state such as Arizona. I would venture to say we are less safe in these progressive liberal states where they are constantly churning out new legislation that will "keep us all safe"

Yes, we here in AZ still have this silly notion that free-born American adults have the RIGHT (not privilege) to carry any dang knife they chose without some gov't bureau-tard sticking their nose into our business. (Oh, and we can conceal carry a handgun as well without some gov't permit!). Seems pretty common-sensical doesn't it? Honestly are there really mass stabbings taking place all over the liberal-land cities with 3"+ blades that require such stupid (and illegal and immoral IMO) laws. Or do cardboard boxes have a strong lobby in the progressive world???? LOL!!!

Speaking generally though (from a gun or knife perspective) criminal types aren't going to give a crap about any stupid law(s) telling them can't carry something anyway... that's why they're criminals. Sheesh!!! Any such laws ONLY have the effect of dis-arming and making vulnerable the the law-abiding citizen.

Too bad the rest of the country doesn't have AZ's common sense. The progressives liberal ninnies may call us "the Old West" if they like... but I'll take the Old West mindset over the Old Urban East mindset any day!!!

One of the problem Arizona faces is an invasion of liberal moving here, who bring their ideas, and ideologies with them. Than they want to make Arizona nice like Chicogoo, Kilafornia, Wizconson, or Minesoda. I tell if they don';t like the way Arizona is, they should go back to were they are from.

One person complained about seeing a lady openly packing a Hand Gun on her hip in Wal-Mart, and they were afraid. I ask if the women with the gun was shopping, and minding her own business. The reply was yes. I said the Handgun was RAPE PREVENTION.

Arizona has long one of the most gun friendly states, I'd say top 3. They have long had open carry without any permit required and a few years ago started allowing concealed carry without a permit as well. They still issue permits for reciprocity reasons, much like Alaska does, but don't require it. Their knife laws are more or less non existent.

Their constitution doesn't define what "arms" are, but it specifies the right to keep and bear them. It does, however, bar private citizens or entities to organize an armed force (tell that to the Minutemen!). Luckily for the people Arizona, the writers of the constitution spared them the horribly convoluted phrasing of the US Constitution. Had our nation's Founding Fathers don this, we wouldn't have anywhere near the controversy we deal with today. Or, if you're Justice Stevens, add 5 words that would "fix the Constitution"...google it if you want.

Arizona, the Copper State. We don't give two cents about what liberals think.
