Arizonans...who likes to camp?

As an avid camping guy with two kids and a wife (my daughter loves camping with dad, the other two not so much)
I enjoy getting small groups of people together for food, fun and fresh air. There is an outting upcoming in February (weekend of the 14th) south of Tucson on 83.

If interested ask and or message.

The idea with the location selected is multi purposed, as a life long prepper and camping guy I make a point to go at least for an overnighter during the coldest parts of Arizona winters - (it can and does get below 30) bearing this in mind, my daughter and I and few other awesome people will be getting together to camp for three days, two nights.

I am bringing target stands and some steel (if my builder can finish in time) and we will have a safe, fun place to trade stories around a campfire, shoot during the day and test our mettle, gear as well as shooting. If any of you Arizona people are looking for fellow scorpions like myself - this will be a good chance to meet them.

The site has no amenities, lots of space and recommended bring your dogs and lots of ammo

Agreed same here, she loves her staycations and cities. Me, I prefer long open spaces and small numbers of zombi...people.

It's been a while since I've gone camping. I do try and get to hike when time permits. I have resolved to spend more time with my family from now on, my wife has a horrible work schedule otherwise I would enjoy a get together.
