ARK edge

What kind of edge does the ARK have? I'm wondering cause I have used this knife a lot lately, and no quite sure how to get her sharp, especally with the serrations. What do I need to do?

Anyone? I've searched the forums, about using the crock stick, and strop method, but I don't know what grind the ARK is.

I just bought some cheap scrap leather from a local sheath maker, it was about $20. I have used that on my EU-17 Magnum and it gets it sharp quite quickly. One thing I realized I was doing wrong was you have to hold the blade very flat when stropping to get the best affect. I would try that method. I hope this helps, I know it can be frustrating trying to get an edge on a knife but I have found that stropping is the easiest way of do this.

It should be just like all the other Busses made lately. I believe it's flat ground and convex edge, which is why a strop is recommended. BTW, I'd be very surprised if your serration really needed to be sharpened so soon, they are supposed to stay sharper much longer (see spyderco website) Obviously, you're going to need a different technique with thoses, such a fine diamond rod, but what I usually is just sharpen the backside of the serrations.
