I just ordered a Dozier Buffalo River Hunter in green micarta from A.G. Russell. I've wanted a Dozier since I read a book about custom knives way back in high school. I have been telling myself the next time A.G. had any back in stock I would finally treat myself to one---I checked the website last night and there they were! A few clicks and one will be on the way to me shortly!

I'll post pix when it gets here--I can hardly wait. I'm as giddy as a schoolgirl! :):D

Thats one of the Doziers i got this year. Can't think of a better deer knife than the Buffalo hunter! There green canvas is also the best I've seen, has a slight yellowish hue to it, like with some green linen.

You'll love it, and the sheath as well:thumbup:

BTW- his knives seem hard to remove from sheath untill you get the hang of pushing down with thumb. Didn't like my first sheath from him for about an hour, but now feel they have the best fit of any sheaths.
