Arkansas knife laws?

I asked local PD, I got one answer saying 4in or less on blade length is legal (pretty sure this is wrong), no one knows about the 3.5 in law being repealed, no one knows if balisongs are legal to carry. I asked the PD, and two local prosecution attourneys! THEY DON'T KNOW! I checked the online sites at the beginning of the knife laws section and can't find out how to find the info I'm looking for. The only search I can think of is "Arkansas" and knife laws" and these usually turn up squat or the old 3.5 in or less rule. Any ideas?

In a previous post, I posted some links for verifying the repeal of the previous blade length restrictions. The thread can be found at:

I think that the instructions here should be clear enough.

I can assure you, though, that the LEO's in your area probably didn't understand the knife laws before, and this repeal has gotten 0 publicity. This is somewhat to be expected, but it is downright shameful on the part of the prosecuting attorneys to not be more familiar with what's going on in the capitol!

You now have the right to carry any size of blade as long as it is not otherwise a weapon (i.e., double-edged, stiletto, sword, auto, etc.), but I would be judicious in exercising that right, as you may have to make the point to a judge, and not a LEO.
