Here's a piece and sheath I just finished for a client. He wanted an Arkansas toothpick so after discussing what he had in mine this is what we came up with.
Oal- 17 1/4" with a 12 1/8" blade. Blade damascus is a laddered W, with matching damascus frame. Clam shell guard, spacer and rear bolsters are all a W damascus thats
been sliced and rewelded to expose the w pattern on all 4 sides. Titanium frame and spacers have all been file worked and anodized gold in color. Handle scales are premium pre ban and documented Elephant ivory, with 8 raised/domed nickel/silver pins. Sheath is tooled with snake skin inlay.
Thanks Coop for working this one in so quickly.

Thanks for looking

Bill

Mr Buxton,
I'm a true dagger fan and let me just say for the record......."That's one of the finest looking daggers I've ever laid my eyes on." You sir are a true master. Ditto for Mr Cooper's photography.

Bill, if you keep this up, you're gonna get good at it. ;) Both knife and sheath!

Bill,

Excellent steel, great finish, and a heck of a piece of ivory! Nothing wrong with that package.

Like you guys, I was VERY pleasantly surprised when I opened this package up.

From now on, I'll be impressed, NOT surprised. ;) Bill you've raised your bar once again!

I flipped the sheath over looking for Pappy Long's mark, but no...

The steel, the grinds, the ivory, the filework, the guards, the sheath.... ALL are masterful.

I know this is colorful. It's a bold knife. (I could shoot it in a sea of tans, but then it would be like all the others.... ;))

Thank you, Bill.

WOW! Bill that is great. Just beautiful work, and the sheath is no slouch either. Very lucky client and an exceptional package.

Bill, I mean, Mr. Buxton ;), friend, that is flat out exceptional, right there.
I mean - that's nice.
Shows how talented you truly are.
I don't care if you are an ol' hillbilly from Missouri - that knife rocks, Bill.
Ya' done good.

That's a custom knife executed to the highest degree. Bill's made fine sheaths for years.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
