I saw a post on here awhile back about armox advanced and it's ability to be a good knife. I have a knife I crafted from this material. Look it up on Google and get the alloy part % any bladesmith worth his salt will be drooling to get a hold of it. That is untill it's time to cut and shape the metal. Hard is an understatement and not brittle in the least. It comes tempered already so one must be creative with the fashioning of a blade from this material.
 
You really need to hit the Bladesmithing area with revelations like this…just saying.
 
as far as I can tell it's pretty low carbon, with some nickel and a little chromium - probably tough, but not very good edge holding...
