I am not really sure where this would go on the forums so I'm posting here and hoping someone gets me to where I need to be. I was paintballing with some friends on Wednesday and we where wearing camo and I had some MARPAT pants and old style woodland shirt and my other friend who was wearing camo had the same camo style shirt only his had a unit patch and that is where the question lies it was a Sword pointing up with I think 4 or 6 lightning bolts going in the the center of the sword kind of like the 56th field artillery but there are more bolts and they are going into the sword. I have been racking my brain over what unit it is and they guy has never been in the army before I know that. So if you have any pictures and info that would be greatly appreciated.

Gold sword pointing up with 3 gold lightning bolts. All on a blue background in the shape of a spearhead.

US Army Special Forces

It was a black sword and black bolts and I think it is of the 1101st signal brigade(found that almost immediatly after I posted this, but i'm still not sure) and and it was most surely an even number of bolts. Fraser thank you for your input but I know what patch you are talking about.

I think most likely you saw the unit shoulder patch for the 1101st Signal Brigade...

Or it could've been the 17th Field Artillery, but that isn't a sword, although it might look like it from a distance...

Maybe the 201st Military Intelligence Brigade, but there are only two lightning bolts and they don't go into the sword...

I'm pretty sure that it's the 1101st signal brigade Thank you gentlemen I think my question has been answered.
