Hello Gang,

I am new to the forum, new to working with metal and new to Oregon.

I retired from the US Army and I am looking for something to put my energy towards.... like many others I have become interested in moving metal after watching Forged in Fire for many years.

We recently moved from Caldwell Idaho (near Boise) to Ontario OR to a decent size farm (125 acres).

So welding has become a necessity and I thought since I need to weld metal I should start learning how to forge metal, (tools and blades)
