Arno Bernard Info?

Does anyone own an Arno Bernard? I've been eyeing his knives for a while. Really like a couple, and they seem very reasonably priced for what they are. It'll definately be a user, so durability (not going to be used as a prybar of course) and comfort info would be a plus, but anythings great.

Thanks

I can't imagine you to go wrong, ESPECIALLY if you plan on using one. From a value standpoint he seems to be topping the charts.

I like the guy. Honest and hard-working. Ever seen him without that 1-meter smile on his face?? ;) :D

I do. I have a 2 inch blade warthog skinner (#27 on artknives site if you want a look.

The blade is ATS34 & a pleasure to use, handle is very comortable to hold. AS he uses a thin grind so easy to keep honed to hair popping sharpness & they are great value for money.

I'ld be interested in seeing what model you end up with.

Cheers Mitch

Arno's stuff is some of the best bang-for-the-buck work available. Super nice guy to boot- really enjoyed talking w/ him. I've had a couple & stupidly parted w/ them. I think www.bladeart.com has some- they normally do.

I own an Arno Bernard knife - and it was definitely high in the bang-for-buck category.
