I'm looking for a knife with a blade around 2 inches long. I want something that is really people friendly and can fit nicely into my change pocket. It also would be really nice if it had a pocket clip. I already know knives like the dragonfly 2 and the boker subcom, wharcom, etc. but I was looking for some other options.

The Dragonfly 2 is really the best choice for that size in my opinion. Great blade shape, ergos, and a lot of handle for that sized blade. The other small knife I like is the Cold Steel Mini Tuff Lite. It's not as refined as the Dragonfly 2, but it also has a lot of handle for that size, and it has comfortable ergos. The blade shape is more of a ultility knife shape, which works well for most tasks, although it's not as all-purpose as the Dragonfly.

Three Sisters Forge CCT Credit Card Knife with a 1.8" blade of M390 and full titanium handles and frame lock.

I really like my SOG spec elite mini. It won't fit in your change pocket, but it has a low rider clip that makes the knife disappear into your pocket or waist band. This is the knife I clip into my running shorts when I go jogging.

Dragonfly 2 is hard to beat in this size! Also consider the Squeak, Meerkat, Cat/Chicago and Lava from Spyderco.

The Squeak is a nearly perfect option for what you want. At 2" of blade it is perfectly useful while not looking stabby (it is wide) or scary to nkp at all. It is easy one hand opening with the spyder hole and has a nice elegant deep carry wire pocket clip (also, unlike the dragonfly, the butt is flat so it doesn't stick out of your pocket or into your side). It is extremely ergonomic, and feels great in my l/xl hands. It is non locking (so legal almost everywhere and hassle free), but has the spyderco slipit notch style spring and a finger choil (which makes it highly unlikely to close on your fingers). It has n690co steel, which is very corrosion resistant but holds an edge really well (I believe it was in category 5 in ankerson's well known testing, the category which s30v resided in). It has lots of belly and is full flat ground, so it's a great slicer. It's also rather inexpensive, at between 35 and 45 dollars!

The Squeak is a great knife!

For such a small knife, consider a traditional like Case's Baby Butterbean. Definitely "people friendly". Really, a classic.

Closed length: 2-3/4"
Spearpoint blade length: 1-15/16"
Pen blade length: 1-3/8"

Dragonfly 2 (my fav is the H1 SE) and Cadet both affordable and lite weight. The Victronox will be the most sheeple friendly. Almost any slip joint I find people seem to ignore. Sog flash1 is also a good choice.
