Around the world (8 times) with Les Stroud

The Hard Drives he describes with the orange covers sound like Lacie's. I use a 320 gb, and they are a top notch drive.

This looks like a very interesting show!! I can't wait!

Looks a decent show.

Seems he's still beating himself up doing these shows. I thought he was taking a step away from the torture?

Lord, that looked fascinating. I'll catch every one of these shows.

Stroud has never seemed an entertainer to me. His attitude, his behavior, his process strikes me as more scientific than anything. I get the distinct feeling I'm looking at a member of my own profession.:)

With this series, he has definitely gone beyond mere showmanship. What he's capturing is very important; maybe the last chance to document a vanishing way of life.

I think I'd have to say Mr. Stroud is becoming a working anthropologist.

I'm kind of surprised they haven't pimped this show more than they have. The first time I have seen an advertisement was last night during Man Woman Wild and Dual Survival. I would have thought that they would have been talking about this for months.

Sounds good, the DVR is waiting. I like how Stroud presents the shows of past in his proffesional manner, and style. I am looking forward to watching, and then sharing with family and friends.
