Willgoy made an excellent suggestion, he thinks that it would be nice to have thread showcasing different traditional knives from around the world. So let's have a little show-and-tell. I'll start.
From the good old U.S. of A. we have a Bark River Rogue bowie.
We'll head over to Finland next, where this Ahti Juhla puukko hails from.
This higonaifu, or friction knife, comes to us from Japan.
I have a few more ethnic knives at home, but unfortunately I don't have any images of them. I'll take some pictures when I get the chance.
