Anyone found a way to get rid of the annoying thread-preview popups? Dang, I hate that. Sorry for the mini-rant.

If you're scrolling down the thread index, you can push the mouse wheel for auto scrolling. that gets rid of them.

I like VBulletin 3.0, but find the preview popups most annoying. :barf:

course ya could just keep your cursor off the topic line.

You have to keep the cursor all the way to the right, in the views area.
Popups will come up on almost anything you touch.
Seems great at first, but quickly becomes an annoyance.

Boy Higgy, it hasn't been your day, since your wife Pi$$ed you off this morning.

Yeah no kidding, bro. Two root canals this week, the doctor wants me on hypertension meds, and I barked my shin real good... oh yeah, and a really nasty steel sliver in my thumb. I'm falling apart! Man, I'll tell you IG, I'm thinking of upgrading from beers to scotch tonight!

Just so you don't feel like you're suffering alone, the Novacaine is starting to wear off from today's root canal here. Why do you have to pay so much to have a seemingly nice guy use power tools in your mouth and cause pain where there was none before. I only had a broken tooth, no pain. Now I have distinctly less tooth and certainly more pain.

I'll second that AAARRRGGGHHHH!

If you were in the neighborhood I'd offer to let you use the microscope to remove the sliver. At least know the thought is there.

John

Bro, have both. Two shots of scotch to one beer is about right. But then again after the day you had make it 4 shots.  :D

scotch yeeeees why do you think I drink that at home.. :D .

I hate change too Craig I'm with you
more scotch please :D

Well here is is Saturday morning. The coffee is brewing. The dog has been out. Today things are better. The wife is running off with girlfriends for a day of shopping (yay!). I had some good scotch last night - Macallan 18 year old. Good stuff! I still got about 3/4 a bottle left too. Its supposed to get to 60 degrees today. Guess I'll fire up the charcoal forge and let the dog run while I play with some hot steel.
:)

Well you made it through it. It is raining down here and I wanted to finish painting that Sportser today so I can get back to knife making. I hate doing clear coat when it is raining.

Hey I appreciate that, John! You know one thing the dentist used while he was doing my canals was a pair of stereoscopic binocular glasses. They were so cool I had to ask him about them. The glass was ground to his prescription, but there were these smaller magnifiers set into holes ground into the lenses. He let me try them on, and they were fantastic! I could see so much better it was amazing.

The really amazing part was how much better and clearer I could see with them verses my headband magnifiers that I use for close work. The only caveat was the price - $1k! He mentioned there was a dental supply house he bought them through but my web browsing has turned up nothing yet. I'll have to call his office and ask him for their number. Not that I can afford a pair right now, LOL!
