I get gifts from people all the time, last year I recieved a regimental Khukri. This time someone gave me what I thaught was an arrow head.

After some research,I concluded that the object is actually a cobb knife. I was wondering if a place in Canada exists for verifing it's authenciticy.

Thanks

Send me a picture or pictures. One Cobb knife feature is that the opposite edges are bevelled (look 'propeller-ish from the end view). If I cannot positively ID it I can post it on a forum where likely you will get TOO much info.

Most artifacts that people refer to as "arrowheads" are actually much too large to have ever been used on an arrow. Most are dart points, spear points, knives, or other flaked tools.
