I just bought an old sickle to hang up in the house for decoration. It has the arrow logo on it and "H. Boker & Co MADE IN AUSTRIA" around the arrow. Does anyone know the time frame it would have been made?

Due to WO2 all pre 1945 archives were destroyed in Solingen factory bombing.

The arrow logo was generally used on (garden) tool division. Dating back to the beginning of the Co.

I however stumbled upon this site;

http://boker.sieper.com.au/about/?IntCatId=2

Does the bladestamp Arrow looks like shown in above company logo?
Apparently this logo is still in production for tools.

You might try posting questions with pictures of the sickle in the bernard levine subforum:

There's a lot of knowledge about old blades at that subforum.
