Heard the doorbell this morning and was busy typing some papers up and when I hurried to the door saw a post saying "Missed delivery from Mary Emerson" will return Monday.

Soooo I missed my Waved 7 by seconds and could have had a whole weekend to play with it!

Bummer dude. I got my waved 7 today. Green G-10, satin finish, plain edge. Its very cool. I like it a lot.
The biggest improvement in my opinion is the clip which is a bit more "relaxed" than my other Emersons. It holds the knife securely in place but allows for a smoother draw.
One problem: The liner lock barely engages the blade when in the locked position. I dunno, looks kinda scary to me.

The only remedy I can think of to make you feel better is to hang in the Gallery thread until the mailman comes again. BTW, the wait will be worthwhile.

Waved CQC-7 Plain blade Black G-10 arrived! This is the knife I have been asking Enerson for except for the left side grind. Now if Emerson will only make some with a right side grind, I will be happy for about 5 minutes and then its on to something else. What does Emerson do for the Japanese market where the right side grind is prevalent? This knife has replaced my Green-T SOCFK for every day carry. I also want a plain blade SOCFK in either Black or Green-T!
 
Well, I live in NYC too and have yet to recieve mine. Emerson told me it shipped on Monday. Has anyone else in the Northeast not received their's?
 
Kublai - same story here (shipped Monday to NYC), and I haven't received mine either.
 
I feel your pain, I missed my valentine one on friday.. gotta wait till monday. I was anticipating getting it today on saturday, but I forgot that they wouldn't come around today as well as sunday.

Usually they drop everything off here, but Valentine Research demands a signature. bugger.

For the uninformed, a v1 is probably one of the best radar and laser detectors around ( http://www.valentineone.com ), I do a lot of driving and I just like to know what's around me.

Oh well, no big deal. What I'm really anticipating is my M4 complete upper

P.S. John H, I did recieve something recently that has diverted my psychotic attention for awhile. The MicroTech Lightfoot LCC MA. Man this thing is built like a tank and is now being carried in my left pocket. I love the CF handles on this thing, hmmmmmmmm...... Now if I got CF handles put on the.... Never mind next project.

Sorry guy. The pictures are of a CN CQC7B and a "Satin" waved CQC7B. Nice set, but the CN is missing something . . . .

Personally, I don't consider the MT LCC series as straying. Thier just too nice.

Patrick and I are working on a deal on another LCC DA (the bastard).

Took a double dose of valium and ritalin and upped the amps on the shock therapy..... I'm feeling much more mellow now.

Ross, get yourself a PO Box and have things sent USPS to you instead of UPS which is what I do. I have easy access to my Box and do not have to wait for the UPS or Postal truck. UPS hides things among my pines or in the garage if open. USPS to the house needs a signature and I have to go to the central Post Office. My PO Box in this little town is very convenient. Except that Emerson made a mistake and sent my waved 7 to my street address by USPS and of course I was not home and had to wait until the next day to pick it up at the central Post Office!
